Jean-Pierre AMET - Editions BELOMBRA

“Regina di Corsica… Randomly of the paths”:

Author: Jean Pierre AMET
Preface Angel ROVERE Historien

In Corsica, the Virgin Mary is the subject of an enthusiastic worship.
In 1735, the Corsicans placed themselves under his protection and made of the “Dio VI salvo Regina” their anthem.
This particular veneration supported, in particular, the emergence of a great number of oratories which were dedicated to him.
With the wire of the reports which made him traverse the island, Jean-Pierre Amet discovered the multiplicity of these places, kinds of natural jewel cases where the “Regina di Corsica” exposes herself.
Gathered in this work, these photographs, ridges randomly of the paths, are also another manner of perceiving the heart of Corsica and his inhabitants. Editions Belombra.Belombra editions

CLOUDS OF SEPTEMBER:

of Francoise PREVOST

The history tells the life of the CASTELLI, 1870 at the Thirties Family of peasants of the gulf of Saint-Florent, in the Corsica course, courageous, heading and crafty beggars, the traditions screwed in the middle and the honor so chatouilleux that it can sometimes lead in the worst case… Very beautiful story written with the heart and the memory of all this Francoise Prévost has seen, heard and included/understood for twenty years…

CORSICAN, WHICH FUTURE: INDEPENDENCE?

of François Valluet Pierre-Franc

The Glavany report/ratio given to the government in September 1998, has been a caricature of the attitude adopted by the French State, for two centuries, with regard to Corsica. At the end 3 years of search, another collective investigation initiated by the Coordination of Tourism industries of Corsica, arrives to conclusion diametrically opposite to those of the Glavany report/ratio. François-Pierre Franc-Valluet is the Rapporteur and was based for it on this investigation to write “Corsica, which future: independence?” in answer to the Glavany report/ratio.

Editions Raymond Manors house.

HISTORY OF THE CORSICAN PEOPLE

of Roger Caratini

This history of the Corsica people tells the enthralling odyssey of the ages of the Mediterranean. Mountain in the sea, Corsica impregnable, mysterious, irresistibly beautiful, attacked during the centuries by the fleets of the continental powers, Corsica who did not cease changing Master, building his language, its traditions, its current identity at the price of resistances, wounds, heroic episodes. Corsica of prehistory, graeco-latin Corsica, Corsica gênoise, Corsica Frenchwoman, of Pascal Paoli and Bonaparte; as many transfers which forged people of character today always moving.

Criterion editions.

GROUND OF THE LORDS

of Gabriel-Xavier Culioli

The magnetism which the ground of the lords exerts from the start on his reader does not come from the originality of the step or the form used, but of surprising, the peaceful one, the obvious truth of the men and the reported events. Beings, places, scenes equipped with an incredible force of life: magiquement ressuscities under our eyes in spite of the devouring night of the memory which carried them already…
