In Corsica, the Virgin Mary is the subject of an enthusiastic worship.
In 1735, the Corsicans placed themselves under his protection and made of the Dio VI salvo Regina their anthem.
This particular veneration supported, in particular, the emergence of a great number of oratories which were dedicated to him.
